Work

• Bikes@Vienna - I worked part time at the Bikes@Vienna bike shop. Mostly I sold bikes, but I also did minor repairs, especially when the shop was busy on weekends. They specialize in recumbent, tandem, and folding bicycles.
• Web Developer - I developed and maintain the FABB and bikes@vienna sites. I believe in simple, fast websites.

Artwork

I've been taking art classes, many at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA, for the past 10 or so years. I suppose in that time I could have received another academic degree or learned some useful skills, but I've found that taking art classes has a rejuvinating effect on me, so I continue to take them. I'm currently taking a pottery class and an open life drawing class at the local community center. Here are some of the works I've completed over the years, mostly on paper.

Web Log

Otherwise known as a blog, I've been keeping a web log using Blogger software since December 2000. I see it as an extension of the journal I've kept since grad school.
